On the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss OTT 3 this week, Vishal Panday’s parents were invited as guests, addressing the slap incident involving Armaan Malik and Vishal Panday.
For those who don’t know, Vishal Panday, while sitting in a corner of the house with his friend Luvkesh Kataria, confessed that he feels guilty about finding Kritika Bhabhi beautiful and admitted that he likes her, but he clarified that he meant it in a good way. When Payal Malik came on the last Weekend Ka Vaar to confront Vishal for praising Kritika Malik, Vishal insisted that he said it in a good way and didn’t realize how it would be perceived on television. After Payal’s allegations against Vishal Panday, Vishal tried to clarify his point by asking Luv to repeat what he had actually said about Kritika. This angered Armaan, and he slapped Vishal. The duo was separated by other housemates as they kept trying to get into a physical fight.
In a recent promo of Bigg Boss OTT 3 and a viral video, Vishal Pandey’s mother and father are seen on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode stage with Anil Kapoor, talking to Vishal Pandey. Earlier, it was speculated that Vishal’s sister Neha might appear on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, as she was seen on social media defending her brother and participating in many interviews. However, it now seems that Neha might not be seen, but their parents will appear, as shown in the new promo and viral video.
In the viral video, Vishal Panday’s parents are seen on stage. When Vishal saw his mother and father, he became emotional and started crying. This reaction was especially significant given the context of earlier events in the show. Previously, during an episode when Payal accused Vishal of inappropriate behaviour, Vishal had been adamant in clarifying his intentions. He repeatedly explained that his comments were made innocently and without any ill intent. Vishal mentioned that his primary concern was how his mother would perceive the situation. He was deeply worried that his mother, upon seeing the episode, would feel hurt and disappointed. His statements, “I was clarifying only because my mother will be seeing this, and she will feel bad hearing it,” reflected his anxiety about his family’s feelings and reputation.
Seeing Vishal crying, his mother also started to cry, visibly moved by her son’s distress. His father, trying to console him, said, “Don’t cry, Vishal. You haven’t done anything wrong.” Luvkesh Kataria, one of Vishal’s closest friends in the house, was also trying to calm him down, showing his support during this emotional moment.
Vishal’s father continued, expressing his deep frustration and disappointment with the situation. He emphasized that slapping is completely unacceptable. He stated, “Slapping is far beyond acceptable. We have never even thought of hitting our child, and we certainly do not give anyone else the right to hit or slap him.” Sana Maqbul, another contestant, nodded in agreement, reinforcing the sentiment shared by Vishal’s father.
His father went on to address the issue of character judgment. He firmly said, “Before talking about his character, ask his family and friends outside the house. Get to know the real Vishal from those who know him best, and then speak about his character.”
Armaan Malik, who was involved in the altercation, responded defensively, saying, “Kataria confirmed it, and then everything happened.” He was referring to the confirmation of Vishal’s comments, which had escalated the situation. However, Vishal’s father was resolute in his stance and replied, “Armaan ji, I don’t want to talk to you about anything.”
