TVF and Amazon’s most awaited series Panchayat is coming back for a third season on May 28. The trailer of the latest season which was released on May 16th, showed the original cast returning for another season. The trailer was filled with fun moments showing the interactions between the fan favourite characters.

The latest season is going to be focussed on the elections for the Gram Pradhan, the head of the Phulera Panchayat. The election between Manju Devi and Kranti Devi promises to be an exciting affair with everyone in the village involved. Abhishek Tripathi, the Secretary of Gram Panchayat is stuck between his loyalty to Manju Devi and Brij Bhushan and the promise of change by Bhushan and Kranti. Also playing an integral part is MLA Chandra Kishore Singh in the politics of Phulera. The trailer also teases a budding friendship between Abhishek and Rinki.
There are many intense and hilarious moments shown in the trailer promising the best season of the show so far. With guns, jokes and emotional moments, the season is going bigger while staying the same story of a small village. The anticipation of the fans seems to be paying off.
The first two seasons of the show were very well received for its rooted characters, excellent performances and heartwarming moments. The first season was released during the pandemic and was praised for its quirky, hilarious and wholesome storyline and well written characters. Season two was also well received by the audience and critics alike.
Written by Chandan Kumar and directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, the show is one of TVF’s most successful productions. Both the seasons received praise for its direction and writing that truly captured the essence of rural India.
