After the success of its seventeenth season, India’s biggest reality show, Big Boss, is currently entertaining fans with the third season of its digital version. It is hosted by Anil Kapoor. The Big Boss OTT Season3 premiered on Jio last month, and the season is likely to end in August.
Big Boss is based on the international show ‘Big Brother’, and it was released in 2006 for the very first time. In total, it has 17 television seasons and 2 streaming seasons. Besides Salman Khan, other celebrities that have hosted Big Boss previously include Shilpa Shetty, Karan Johar, Sanjay Dutt, and Amitabh Bachchan. The OTT version of the show was hosted by Salman Khan in 2023.
Anil Kapoor opened the new season with a striking dance performance. While the finale date of Big Boss OTT season 3 isn’t yet out, the latest suggest makers have already started working on Big Boss Season 18,Big Boss 17 winner was a stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui.
As expected, Bigg Boss OTT 3 has turned out to be a successful affair, as viewers love the change in dynamics and rivalries. Every year, a new season of Bigg Boss TV premieres around two months after the finale of Bigg Boss OTT. A viral post is currently going viral on the internet that states that the makers have already approached many well-known celebrities for Bigg Boss 18 and Bigg Boss 18 is set to premiere on October 5th this year. The X (earlierknown as Twitter) post reads, #BiggBoss18 to kick off on @ColorsTV from the end of September or October. Many famous celebrities have been approached.” However, it has not been officially confirmed. Also, so far, there’s no update on the names of celebrities who’ve received offers to be a part of Bigg Boss 18.
A large section of Bigg Boss OTT 3 viewers are missing Salman Khan as host. For those who are unaware, the Bollywood superstar couldn’t be a part of the on-going season as he’s busy shooting for his next film, Sikandar. Everyone is hoping that the Dabangg star returns as host in Bigg Boss 18. Well, there’s no clarity on the same yet. However, let’s hope to see him back in the new season.
