Bigg Boss OTT 3 premiered exclusively on Jio Cinema on 21st June, 2024. Jio Cinema also offers 24-hour live feed of the contestants. Usually, Salman Khan hosts all the Bigg Boss shows, but due to prior work commitments of his upcoming movie ‘Sikander,’ he refused to be the host. Reportedly, Salman Khan also charged a high-fee for Bigg Boss OTT 3, which the makers could not afford. Anil Kapoor has replaced Salman as the host of Bigg Boss OTT 3. The viewers of the show are not impressed by Anil Kapoor as the host this season.
The Bigg Boss OTT season 3 has seen four eliminations till now. First contestant to get eliminated from the house was Neeraj Goyat. He was evicted during a mid-week eviction. Payal Malik was then evicted during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode. Third evicted contestant was Poulomi Das. She was also evicted during the mid-week eviction. Lastly, Munisha Khatwani was evicted during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode that aired on last Sunday. From that Sunday no contestant has been eliminated.
Reportedly, Chandrika Dixit Gera is the fifth contestant to be eliminated from the Bigg Boss OTT season 3. This week, five contestants were nominated for eviction. Those nominated contestants were, Vishal Pandey, Lovekesh Kataria, Shivani Kumari, Armaan Malik and Chandrika Dixit Gera. Vishal and Lovekesh have a huge fan following, hence they are the top two most voted contestants. The bottom three contestants were Armaan, Shivani and Chandrika. After a tough fight of votes, Chandrika Dixit Gera is said to be eliminated from the show.
During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Anil Kapoor was seen ruthlessly bashing Chandrika Dixit Gera. Anil got furious at Chandrika as all she did for the week was bringing up the topic of Vishal’s comment on Kritika Malik. Anil also told Chandrika that she played a victim-card even though she was not involved in that Vishal-Kritika-Armaan incident. Chandrika was also questioned by the host Anil Kapoor on her tendency to take false stands and create ‘muddas.’
