Commander Karan Saxena is set to release on Disney+ Hotstar on July 8, 2024. New episodes of the series will be released Monday to Friday. The series can be watched for free on the mobile application of Disney+ Hotstar. It is directed by Jatin Wagle and produced by Keylight Productions. The series is based on the character which is created by Amit Khan.

Gurmeet Choudhary plays the character of commander Karan Saxena who puts his life at stake in order to save the nation. The trailer is packed with action sequences with twists, conspiracies and betrayal at every point.

Gurmeet claimed that the role of commander Karan Saxena is extremely special to him along that he said, he deeply admires all the officers who wholeheartedly serves our nation. He added that playing a character like this which has been inspired by these heroes is a tremendous honour for him. Iqbal Khan is a prominent television actor who has featured in numerous serials. He is best known for his participation in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 6. Iqbal plays the role of ISI Chief Nasir who is the villain of the series. While talking about his negative role in the series, Iqbal said that this is one of the most menacing yet charming characters he has played. Nasir is a character who is bold, aggressive and is driven by wholehearted passion as well as unwavering faith. By portraying the character of Nasir, he had the opportunity toexplore character traits completely different from who he is in real life and it was a challenging experience. Jatin, the director of the series, ensured that his character is real as well as larger-than-life which is a tough task but he did justice to it.
