Hyundai to hike vehicle prices from January 1, 2026

New Delhi: Korean auto major Hyundai Wednesday said it is raising prices of its vehicles with effect from January 1, 2026 to offset the impact of rising input costs.

“Due to the rise in the cost of precious metals and commodities, Hyundai Motor India Limited will undertake a weighted average price increase of around 0.6% across its model range, effective from January 1, 2026”, the company said in a statement.

Hyundai Motor India sells a range of models from small car Grand i10 to electric SUV Ioniq 5 priced between Rs 5.47 lakh to Rs 46.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
The company added in its statement while it continuously strives to optimize costs and minimize the impact on its customers, it is “constrained to pass on some of the increased costs to the market through this minor price increase”.

Renault, Nissan, Mercedes Benz, BMW and JSW MG Motor India are among other carmakers who have announced plans to hike vehicle prices in the new year.
