Perot Jain expands cricket footprint with US Cricket sponsorship

Perot Jain, a Dallas-based venture capital and private equity firm, has announced its sponsorship of the United States Men’s National Team for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, which will be held in India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8.

The sponsorship reflects Perot Jain’s long-standing belief in cricket’s growth potential in the United States and its commitment to strengthening the sport’s ecosystem, from grassroots development to elite international competition.

The United States will compete in Group A alongside India, Pakistan, the Netherlands and Namibia. The team opened its campaign against India today at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.

ICC Americas Regional Development Manager Fara Gosi said the partnership marked an important vote of confidence in the national side. “The team’s participation at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 is a significant achievement, reflecting exceptional performance and resilience amid challenging circumstances. This sponsorship demonstrates Perot Jain’s confidence in the team’s ability to compete at the highest level of international T20 cricket,” Gosi said.

Perot Jain is a co-owner of Major League Cricket (MLC) and the Texas Super Kings franchise and has played a central role in expanding cricket’s footprint in North Texas and beyond. MLC recorded record attendance during the 2025 season, including a third consecutive sell-out for its Championship Final.

Anurag Jain said the sponsorship reflects the firm’s support for the US Men’s National Team as it competes internationally. “Competing in the World Cup validates how far this team has come and helps accelerate the growth of cricket across the United States,” he added.
The firm’s investments in cricket have also delivered economic impact in North Texas. Developments linked to MLC, including the construction of the country’s first professional cricket stadium in Grand Prairie, have generated jobs and boosted local hospitality, tourism and vendor activity. Recent estimates suggest cricket-related development in the region has contributed hundreds of millions of dollars in economic activity.“Major League Cricket isn’t just about the matches we play,” Jain added.“ It’s about the communities we build, the dreams we fuel, and the real economic impact we deliver. From youth academies to tourism, cricket is expanding opportunities in ways we haven’t seen before—and we’re just getting started,” he said.

Looking ahead, Perot Jain sees a pivotal moment for the sport, with cricket set to return to the Olympic Games at Los Angeles 2028. Through its involvement in MLC and team ownership, the firm is focused on developing domestic talent and strengthening pathways for U.S. men’s and women’s national teams.

“This isn’t just about one World Cup,” Jain said. “It’s about building something lasting and helping cricket become a defining sport for the next generation in America.”
