Actor and internet personality Asim Riaz was recently eliminated from the stunt-based reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’. Asim Riaz allegedly got into an argument with host Rohit Shetty before angrily walking out of the show. His aggressive behavior at the show before being expelled was condemned by many fans and was labeled as rude, while a few called him a ‘joker’.
Amidst the criticism, Asim Riaz received support from television actress Shilpa Shinde. While Speaking to Times Now, Shilpa defended Asim by suggesting that although he should have remained silent instead of arguing with Rohit Shetty, he was also alone and ganged up by the others, ‘bullied’ and ‘instigated’ several times on the show. She further stated that Asim was not entirely wrong in the situation, and everyone was to blame for it. She said that even those who were not fans would have noticed that he was being unnecessarily targeted in the show.
Throughout the argument with Rohit Shetty, Shilpa continued to calm Asim down and kept telling him to remain quiet. Shilpa said that Asim is very talkative but does not quite know how to express himself well. Further adding, she said Asim does not know when to stop. Moreover, Shilpa clarified that Asim Riaz had probably forgotten that he was on the sets of Khatron Ke Khiladi and not at the Bigg Boss House. A person wins Khaton Ke Khiladi through physical strength and not by talking.
Shilpa Shinde attributed Asim’s habit of not knowing when to stop talking as the reason behind the argument. She believed that the issue should not have been stretched and should not have reacted so aggressively upon losing a task. For the unversed, Asim Riaz failed to complete a task, next to Aashish Mehrotra and Niyati Fatnan. Asim later lost his cool, claiming that it was impossible for one to complete the task. He later asked the team of the show to try performing it and claimed that he would not take a penny from the show. Riaz also called his contestants ‘losers’.
Rohit Shetty called Asim out on his rudeness and unprofessional behavior. Rohit Shetty pulled him up and aggressively condemned his actions and words by saying, “I will thrash you here. Don’t behave badly”. Eventually, Asim was asked to leave the show. Khatron Ke Khiladi’s fourteen edition has begun streaming on JioCinema and is also airing on Colors TV beginning from July 27.
